Walnut ice cream

  • Ingredients

    1 liter of milk

    4 egg yolks

    200 grams of peeled walnuts

    300 ml of liquid cream to whip

    200 grams of sugar

Walnut ice cream


1.Beat the yolks with the sugar until they are well foamy, then mix them with the milk and put in a saucepan over the fire.

2.Remove slowly over low heat until it thickens obtaining a cream. Let cool.

3.Grind the walnuts until they are fine, then add to the cold cream, mix well.

4.Mount the cream and add to the preparation. Mix and take the ice cream to the freezer.

5.After half an hour take it out and beat it to break the ice crystals. Put it back in the freezer and every half hour repeat the whipping operation, doing it several times to obtain a creamy texture.
