- 360 gr of sourdough
- 360 gr of bread flour
- 90 gr of whole rye flour
- 8 gr of baker's yeast
- 300 ml of water
- 10 g of salt
- 100 gr of peeled walnuts
- We start by preparing the yeast, a must for a fluffy and delicate bread. We put the yeast with a little warm water, it is important that it is not too hot so that it does not affect the properties of this ingredient.
- We add the yeast to the sourdough and to the flours. To give it softness we put the necessary water. We knead calmly to obtain a homogeneous bread dough. We will incorporate the walnuts and salt.
- We will shape this dough, a circle that we will let it rest until it doubles its volume. When the dough has rested with our hands, we will form the buns.
- Preheat the oven to 250º while the buns rest a little longer. We will bake this bread for about 20 minutes until this exceptional walnut bread is ready.
