Walnut bread

  • Ingredients:

    • 360 gr of sourdough
    • 360 gr of bread flour
    • 90 gr of whole rye flour
    • 8 gr of baker's yeast
    • 300 ml of water
    • 10 g of salt
    • 100 gr of peeled walnuts

Elaboration:

  1. We start by preparing the yeast, a must for a fluffy and delicate bread. We put the yeast with a little warm water, it is important that it is not too hot so that it does not affect the properties of this ingredient.
  2. We add the yeast to the sourdough and to the flours. To give it softness we put the necessary water. We knead calmly to obtain a homogeneous bread dough. We will incorporate the walnuts and salt.
  3. We will shape this dough, a circle that we will let it rest until it doubles its volume. When the dough has rested with our hands, we will form the buns.
  4. Preheat the oven to 250º while the buns rest a little longer. We will bake this bread for about 20 minutes until this exceptional walnut bread is ready.
