Chocolate and walnut cookies

  • Ingredients for 4 people

    250 grams of flour

    250 grams of chocolate in chips

    125 grams of walnuts

    125 grams of white sugar

    125 grams of brown sugar

    1 egg

    125 grams of butter

    2 teaspoons vanilla (extract)

    1 teaspoon of baking soda

Preparation

  1. In a bowl we mix the bicarbonate with the flour. From while we heat the butter in the microwave for a few seconds. It does not matter if it does not melt completely since then with the rest of the ingredients it will be completely undone.
  2. In another container we mix the butter, the egg, the sugar and the vanilla extract with the help of some sticks. We will stir well so that all these ingredients are mixed well before proceeding to form the dough with the flour
  3. Add the flour little by little, mixing well with the rods until a thick dough is left.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and chopped nuts. We stir well so that it mixes with the dough.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180º for a few minutes while we are placing the cookie dough on a tray with vegetable paper. We will place just a handful on the paper, somewhat separated because otherwise they will end up glued. Bake at 180º for 10 minutes.

 

Preparation tips

Do not worry if they seem to you that they are somewhat soft since as they cool they will harden.

Getting the perfect baking point is impossible so if the first round doesn't go well, keep trying.
