Smart nuts
Following a balanced diet for college, high school, or other educational students is vital.
Through food we enjoy, we share family moments, but above all we nourish ourselves. Food goes far beyond the mere fact of satiating hunger. How we eat will affect our performance and our health, and these factors are key in a period as important as the exam season.
Including walnuts in the students’ weekly diet is interesting to get the necessary nutrients and that their performance does not decline.
Food that cannot be missed during exam period
This food should be added to a healthy diet, where the consumption of vegetables should be the basis of the main meals.
Walnuts are considered a very precious food. They contain healthy omega-3 type fat, which contributes to brain and vision function. It also highlights its contribution of protein, fiber, selenium and magnesium. The latter has a role in psychological function.
It is recommended to eat 1 handful (25-30g) of nuts up to 1 time a day, which would be equivalent to about 5 whole nuts.
